Heinrich-Heine University Duesseldorf is represented by the Coordination Centre for Clinical Trials (KKS) at the Medical Faculty. The current enrolment of the university exceeds 17,000 students. Its emphasis is on the life sciences and its oldest and most important part is the medical faculty. The Coordination Centre for Clinical Trials (KKS) offers support for all aspects of clinical trials considering all scientific criteria, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) compliance, monitoring and training and all valid legislation and guidelines. KKS has extensive experience in the installation, evaluation, hosting and system validation of clinical trials software. In addition to conducting clinical trials, KKS supports research projects with evaluation, installation, hosting and validation of clinical study software. The focus hereby is on the standard based integrated software support for clinical and biomedical research.
