Consorzio Interuniversitario di Risonanze Magnetiche di Metalloproteine
CERM is the NMR lab of the Consorzio Interuniversitario di Risonanze Magnetiche di Metalloproteine (CIRMMP), and is a Research Infrastructure for NMR in Structural Biology. It is a core center of the European Integrated Structural Biology Infrastructure (INSTRUCT). The research activity at CERM encompasses bioinformatics, cellular structural biology, molecular biology, drug discovery, NMR methodology, relaxometry, metabolomics. The center (70-80 people;
3500 m2) hosts a large number of NMR spectrometers for solution and solid state as well as for metabolomics. CERM also hosts the da Vinci European Biobank, a biobank of biological samples and biomolecular resources.
