The bridges for life-science data are open - BioMedBridges final symposium celebrates achievements

The international Open Bridges for Life-Science Data symposium, which took place 17-18 November on the Wellcome Genome Campus in Hinxton, attracted around 250 delegates from all over the world. Scientists from research infrastructures, institutes and industry followed the program, which included 10 inspiring plenary lectures and 12 interactive workshops on the tools and services developed in BioMedBridges as well as related activities and topics. Great activity on Twitter using the #lifesciencedata hashtag opened the discussion up beyond those present in Hinxton and to the wider community. (More photos of the symposium are available here)
